Summer Enrichment Programs
TutorGNV is pleased to announce our 2026 summer enrichment programs! All enrichment programs are taught by our community’s best teachers.
Academic Enrichment
Our academic summer enrichment program will focus on reading and/or math for students entering grades K-6. The program will consist of fully customized, 60-minute individual sessions with the same teacher throughout the summer. The first session will include an evaluation and written recommendation plan administered by the teacher. Written recommendation plans may include suggestions for supplemental materials (not included in program cost). The teacher will develop a personalized curriculum for enrichment based on the needs and interests of the student. Personalized curriculum will meet all Florida Department of Education grade-level standards.
Program cost: Sessions are pay as you go – no commitment required. First session is $100; all subsequent sessions are $75.
Program duration: June 1 – August 1, once or twice weekly.
Program teachers: All tutoring by local certified elementary teachers. See our About page for tutor bios.
* This is an approved summer enrichment program with Step Up For Students. New Worlds, FES-UA, and PEP scholarship funds may be used for this program.
Art Enrichment
Grades 2-5: Sessions will focus on art using a springboard of stories and literature to connect to a student’s special creativity. Students will work with a variety of materials to create their own project. Materials will be provided.
Grades 6-12: Students will choose a curriculum of drawing or design-related projects to enhance their art capabilities. The projects will be individually created for each student according to interest and ability and will include connection to other areas of the regular educational curriculum for his or her age. Basic materials supplied.
All art enrichment will be taught by Cheryl Conroy, a certified art education teacher for students in grades K-12. Cheryl has taught art to students in pre-K through high school in Ohio, California, Hawaii, and Florida for over three decades.
Program cost: Sessions are pay as you go – no commitment required. First session is $100 to cover the cost of materials; all subsequent sessions are $75. Sessions may be small groups with several students in similar grade/ability levels.
Program duration: June 1 – August 1, once weekly.
* This is an approved summer enrichment program with Step Up For Students. Scholarship funds may be used for this program for students with FES-UA or PEP scholarships.
