Meet Linda!

Linda Glenn is a Gainesville native who received her B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Florida. She taught in the Alachua, Levy and Gilchrest County public school systems for many years, before and after raising her 3 daughters. When she returned to teaching, she spent
four years teaching 4th grade and attended several educational workshops on creative writing. As a 4th grade teacher, she was responsible for teaching her students how to write expository and narrative passages to find success when taking FCAT Writes. Linda also taught 3rd and 5th grade for a time and spent her last six years teaching 2nd grade at Gainesville Country Day School. Linda loves children and has a strong desire to help them learn and excel in school. She is patient, and kind and believes that children respond to laughter and positive reinforcement.
